Symptoms

Analytics Publisher Excel output is generated with Junk characters when downloaded from the Report Job History page.

This issue can occur after receiving the 23D Quarterly update. As a result, Report Excel output is generated with Junk Characters.

STEPS

  1. Login to Fusion cloud service
  2. Navigate to Tools > Report & Analytics
  3. Click Browse Catalog
  4. Navigate to the shared folder of the Analytics Publisher report to be scheduled with the Excel Template
  5. Click on More > Schedule
  6. Submit the Job
  7. Navigate to the Report Job History page >Search and Open the Report Job Name with Excel Template
  8. Download the output file

    The output will be generated with Junk characters.
