Goal
How to upgrade the JDK installed with the Oracle Data Gateway - also known as the Oracle Remote Data Gateway (RDG)?
For example, see the following use case:
1. An earlier installation of RDG is upgraded to the latest version (say, September 2023).
2. A scan by a Security utility flags the following locations as having JDK versions with Vulnerabilities (as noted in the Oracle Critical Patch Update (CPU) advisory for Oracle Java SE).
<Data Gateway install folder>/oui/Linux:
jdk1.8.0_211
jdk1.8.0_333
<Data Gateway install folder>/oracle_common:
jdk1.8.0_211
jdk1.8.0_333
Can these be upgraded to jdk1.8.0_381+ as recommended in the Oracle Java SE CPU advisory?
