Error: "Configuration Package contains an exception" When Attempting To Create A Unifier Component List

Symptoms
When attempting to create a component list (CompList1) to deploy a shell template, the following error is displayed when a Business Process (BP) "BP1" is selected and included in the template. The error does not appear if the "BP1" BP is not selected, and other Business Processes are.

"The Configuration Package contains an exception. Contact your System Administrator. Exception occurred during processing. Code: XXXXX-ABCDE12345-ConfigPack
Exception context: SetupHandler.requireWfSetupXMLFields in procedure: pack.
Last processed context: SetupHandler.pack().
(Where "XXXXX" is a string that is unique to the client cloud environment, and ABCDE12345 is a random alphanumeric number. It points to an index in the Unifier logs that will contain additional details regarding the root cause of the error).
STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Log into the Unifier stage environment.
- Navigate to Company Workspace > Admin Mode > Configuration Package Management > Component Lists > Open "CompList1 > Navigate to Shell Templates > Setup > Ensure that the "BP1" BP is checked.
- Click "Error Check".
- The error message noted above is displayed in a Unifier popup window.
