Symptoms
When adding a Document record to an employee and submitting for approval, the following error is seen in the transaction log:
JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.JboException, msg=JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.DMLConstraintException, msg=JBO-26048: Constraint "HR_DOCUMENTS_OF_RECORD_PK" is violated during post operation "Insert" using SQL statement "INSERT INTO HR_DOCUMENTS_OF_RECORD(DOCUMENTS_OF_RECORD_ID,PERSON_ID,ASSIGNMENT_ID,ENTERPRISE_ID,DOCUMENT_TYPE_ID,DOCUMENT_NAME,COMMENTS,DEI_ATTRIBUTE_CATEGORY,DEI_INFORMATION_CATEGORY,OBJECT_VERSION_NUMBER,LAST_UPDATE_DATE,LAST_UPDATED_BY,LAST_UPDATE_LOGIN,CREATED_BY,CREATION_DATE,DOCUMENT_CODE,CREATION_SOURCE) VALUES (:1,:2,:3,:4,:5,:6,:7,:8,:9,:10,:11,:12,:13,:14,:15,:16,:17)".
The error does not occur to all the transactions.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Add a document of record to an employee > Submit.
2. Navigate to Tools > Transaction Console.
3. Open the transaction and review the diagnostic log.
