Symptoms
When attempting to configure a Data Load, the following error occurs:
ORA-30001: trim set should have only one character
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Configure a data load with trim expression 1 ' ' (single quotes around space):
1.- Go to Application ID > Shared Components > Data Load Definitions > Data Load Definition Details > Data Profile.
2.- Click on Edit Data Profile.
3.- Click on Edit (the pencil) beside the column name.
4.- Click on the Transformation Type list and select Trim.
5.- In the Expression1 text box type: ' ' (single quotes around space)
6.- Apply changes.
7.- Run the application and try to upload the file.
8.- The error returned is: ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error
