Symptoms

 When attempting to update a Learning Record to Withdrawn Status using HDL which includes the following error occurs.

ERROR

An error occurred. To review details of the error run the HCM Data Loader Error Analysis Report diagnostic test. Message details: JBO-Validation Failed! learning record reason code can not be null for status ORA_ASSN_REC_WITHDRAWN and Attribution TypeORA_SPECIALIST: STRINGMANAGER: Key: Validation Failed! learning record reason code can not be null for status ORA_ASSN_REC_WITHDRAWN and Attribution TypeORA_SPECIALIST not found in bundle oracle.javatools.resourcebundle.ResourceBundleRT.

After adding the LearningRecordReasonCode value, the following error occurs.

Message details: JBO-Validation Failed! learning record reason code:ORA_WLF_WITHD_RSN_SPEC is not valid for status ORA_ASSN_REC_WITHDRAWN AttributionType:ORA_SPECIALIST: STRINGMANAGER: Key: Validation Failed! learning record reason code:ORA_WLF_WITHD_RSN_SPEC is not valid for status ORA_ASSN_REC_WITHDRAWN AttributionType:ORA_SPECIALIST not found in bundle oracle.javatools.resourcebund

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Attempt to load a Learning Record HDL file with intent to update the status of a Learning Record to Withdrawn Status
  2. Encounter the first error message above which indicates that the LearningRecordReasonCode attribute and value are missing
  3. Attempt to load another Learning Record HDL file same intent to update the stauts of a Learning Record to Withdrawn Status and which includes the LearningRecordReasonCode attribute and value
  4. Encounter the second error message above which indicates that the value associated with the LearningRecordReasonCode attribute is invalid
