Symptoms
Problem Description:
Messages/emails are not tracked in the Messages tab of the application when candidate has enabled both communication methods (SMS & email) or only SMS.
- If a candidate opts to sign up to apply for job via phone number this seems to be working without incident as the candidate receives the text messages, however, the messages that are sent to the candidate are not recording under the Messages tab in the SMS section.
- If a candidate then updates their preferred communication method to email, again this works fine and the email message is sent and any further messages are recorded in the Messages tab under the Emails section.
- If a candidate, then updates their preferences to receive communications by BOTH email and SMS the messages will be sent via both communication methods BUT they do not track under Messages tab under email or SMS.
Reproduction steps:
- Recruiter accesses an application
- Goes to Messages tab and sends either SMS/ email
- Messages/emails are not tracked in the Messages tab of the application
- When candidate has both communication methods selected, the user sending the message gets the following error: Error: The Message Couldn't Be Processed (IRC-1590408)
