TRCS - Tax Automation Rule Doesn't Synchronize Between Never Share And Shared Entity (Doc ID 2992191.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 20, 2023

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Executing the Tax Automation Global Save Business Rule in TA Global Form does not sync the rules between Never Shared Entity & Shared Entity.

1) Login to TRCS app Global Rules -> Business Rule "Tax Automation Global Save"

2) Configuration -> Tax Automation Manage Rules

3) Choose your POV and For a specific account, Example: TRCS_NIBT , set the value for "TRCS_Automation Disabled Disabled" to  ENABLED

4) But if you go to the tab that has the form "Entity Rules" and change the Entity to a shared entity in the POV  (Choose any of the shared entity) , Now check value  "TRCS_Automation Disabled Disabled" for the account TRCS_NIBT , it will be DISABLED. If you change the POV to choose the primary entity , the value will retain as ENABLED like it was set up in the "Global rules" form.

5) This shows the issue of changes in Global form not coming to shared entities when reviewed in the "Entity form" correctly.

6) Even after running "Business rule" "Tax Automation Global Save " from the "Global rule" form , the changed value doesn't reflect for the shared entity in the "Entity Rules" Form for this use case.
