OCI Network Firewall - How to Upgrade a Network Firewall Policy (Doc ID 2992353.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

All new firewalls and policies that are created manually, use the new version of the service. Firewalls and policies that existed before the new version was released will continue to use the old version of the service until are manually upgraded from OCI Console interface. Each policy that use the previous version has a notation next to it in the Policy List page so you can easily tell which policies are using old or new version.

The message notification will be Version Upgrade Available in the tab of the name for the old policy version.
