Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When the Timescale on Project Assignments spreadsheet is set to Financial Period and the Download link to open in Excel is selected, the Excel file doesn't contain the Financial Period label.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Financial Period Labels will appear properly in the downloaded Excel file.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into P6 Web.
  2. Go to Administration > Enterprise Data > Financial Period.
  3. If you have existing Financial Periods created, then use these, if not create some Financial Periods.
  4. Go to Projects > EPS.
  5. Open a project (preferably one that has resource data).
  6. Go to Projects > Assignments.
  7. Create a new view.
  8. Go to the Spreadsheet tab.
  9. Set the Timescale to Financial Period (and the appropriate Financial Period Calendar).
  10. Click Save.
  11. Apply the View.
  12. Click the Spreadsheet icon in the view to show the spreadsheet.
  13. Click Download.
  14. Open the file in Excel.
  15. Notice that the Financial Period columns are not showing the Financial Period labels preceding the Financial Period dates.
