Moving Workspace From Non-Production To Production Is Failing With Unhandled Error In Log (Doc ID 2993325.1)

On : 23.11 version, Cloud: Enterprise, Dashboards and Portfolios

When attempting to move one workspace from non-production to Production the following error occurs.


Failed to move Workspace XXXX to Workspace YYYY.
Type: entity.entity_workspace
Name: Unhandled Error
Recommendation: Contact Customer Support for assistance.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into OPC.
  2. Navigate to non-prod workspace list
  3. Click gear icon of one workspace in non-production and select to move the workspace to production.
  4. Log shows failed status and above error message.
