When Hiding Columns in the Funding Sheet, They Can Revert Back To Shown Status Without Any User Intervention (Doc ID 2994150.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 21, 2023

Applies to:

Primavera Unifier Cloud Service - Version 23.10 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When updating a Funding Sheet to change the Display Mode from "Show" to "Hide", the columns will remain hidden for some interval of time from a few days to weeks. But eventually the hidden columns will become visible again without any user modifying the Display Mode setting. This is occurring in both the Project level Funding Sheets and in the Projects Template Funding Sheet as well.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
----------------------------
Once the Funding Sheet has been updated to Hide certain columns, they should remain hidden until the column is edited to change the Display Mode to "Show".

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the Unifier production environment.
  2. Navigate to a Project/Shell > Funding Manager > Funding Sheet > Open Funding Sheet > Select "Column1", "Hide".
  3. Repeat this for all columns that you wish to change the Display Mode to "Hidden".
  4. Close the Funding Sheet > Reopen the Funding Sheet and note that the changes were saved and only the desired columns are being displayed.
  5. Time passes, a few days to several days, go back and view the Funding Sheet within which several columns had been hidden and all of the hidden columns are now being displayed again.
  6. Navigate to Company Workspace > Admin Mode > Templates > Shells > Projects > Project Template > Cost Manager > Funding > Funding Sheet > Columns > Select columns to change the Display Mode of them to "Hidden" > Close the Columns Log.
  7. Time passes, a few days to several days, go back and view the Funding Sheet in the Shell Template and columns that were previously "Hidden" are now shown again.
