Error: "The value for field [DE_NAME] must be unique in row x of the input request file." When Using Import to Create BP Records (Doc ID 2994275.1)

Symptoms

When users use import to create Business Process (BP) records in Unifier, the below error is received:

ERROR
-----------------------
The value for field [DE_NAME] must be unique in row x of the input request file. There is another record number containing the same value for this field."


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to Unifier.
  2. Open project.
  3. Open Business  Process (BP).
  4. From BP log, click on Actions > Export CSV Template or Export Microsoft Excel Template.
  5. Update file with desired data.
  6. In Unifier click Actions > Import > from CSV Template, or from Microsoft Excel Template.
  7. Drag and drop updated file.
  8. Click upload.
  9. Error will be shown in import audit log and via e-mail: The value for field [DE_NAME] must be unique in row x of the input request file. There is another record number containing the same value for this field".
