OCI Compute - How to Restore an Instance using the Same Hostname and IP (Doc ID 2996653.1)

Goal

In scenarios where an instance is down and unable to repair, you can restore the instance from a volume backup, however, this process creates a new instance with a different IP and Hostname. Due to resources and applications running on the instance, you need to keep the same IP and Hostname for it to work properly.
