Goal
- How do you determine the number of request if you write or copy 400 Gigabytes (GB) data per day backup to OCI object storage (infrequent access tier). If my back up is a single file of 400 GB and I am uploading it to object storage in a single request and it's taking 4 hours to upload it to OCI object storage, will it be considered as 1 request only or more?
- Are these request to OCI object storage in any way time bound cost implication, for example one single request to upload a file of 400/500 GB if taking 5 or 6 hours will be considered as a single request or multiple request?
- As per the OCI object storage pricing document, 10,000 Requests per month and the first 50,000 requests are free. So will you be charged after 10,000 request in a particular month and will you be charged for all requests after 50,000 irrespective of month?
- Can archive tier of object storage also be mounted on a OCI Linux VM and accessed just like standard Tier?
