Goal

Assets delivers a new feature ‘Segregation of Asset Transaction Entry and Transaction Posting Duties’ in release 23D and 24A. This feature is implemented in transaction pages in 23D and in ADFDI spreadsheet in 24A.
This segregates the duty of entering and preparing an asset transaction from the duty of reviewing and posting the transaction. Helps enforce the internal control requirement that a different user review and post an asset transaction from the user who created the transaction.
This also allows implementing makers and checkers control where two people are required to make one transaction successful. A user having access to create transactions will create or initiate an asset transaction, mark it as ready to review and another user having access to post transactions will review the transactions in read-only form and either post it or revert back to the creator for correction.

How to opt-in and setup for usage of the new 'Segregation of Asset Transaction Entry and Transaction Posting Duties'?
