Symptoms

Problem Description

When trying to configure Vanity Email when entering the Vanity Email address the following error is received:

Error: You need to enter a vanity email that's the same as the active email messaging provider's user name, or activate another email messaging provider. (IRC-1591005)

As well downstream when attempting to Enable Recruiter Booster Task: Recruiting Messaging Configuration > Email Communications section is not available.

Steps

1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance and select Task: Enterprise Recruiting and Candidate Experience Information
2. Expand the Candidate Experience section and click Edit
2. Select the option Vanity Email
3. Enter the vanity email display name
5. Enter the vanity email address.
6. Click Save. Receive error - You need to enter a vanity email that's the same as the active email messaging provider's user name, or activate another email messaging provider. (IRC-1591005)
7. Recruiting and Candidate Experience > Change Feature Opt In
8. Enable Recruiting Booster
9. Task: Recruiting Messaging Configuration > Email Communications section is not visible
