MFCS - Duplicated UDAs (Doc ID 2997468.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 11, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service - Version 23.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When selecting to apply UDAs (User Defined Attributes) to Child Items from a Style Item, instead of overwriting the UDAs the system duplicates them.

  1. Create a Level 2 (Style) Item with at least 1 Differentiator.
  2. Create one Child Item using that Differentiator.
  3. Open the Child Item, add a UDA, save and close.
  4. Go back to the Style Item, add the same UDA but with a different value, save and close.
  5. Answer "Yes" to apply the UDA to child items.
  6. Go back to the Child Item, check UDAs.

Expected Result:

The new UDA has overwritten the old UDA.

Actual Result:

Both the old and new UDAs are now on the child item.
