Symptoms

When terminating lease why are payments not zeroing?

Example

1. Create a lease from 01-Jan-2023 to 31-Dec-2023. Activated the lease.
2. Terminated the lease with the effective date of 01-Jan-2023, generated schedules

Expecting the payments to be zero, but the system is generating payment of $$ (Interest expense)
