How to set the communicated window for a mass assigned internal activity?

One User story requires the ability to create an activity for a specific date and start time for an individual or a group of field resources. Using the new communicated window fields and have the ability to set the communicated window for an activity for an individual field resource is a requirement. When attempting to set the communicated window for a mass assigned activity, the window is not saved.
