Symptoms

Using the Calculate Partial Period Accruals process to estimate costs. The estimated costs seem to use another calculation base vs. expected one.

The Expectations: To calculate Partial Period Accruals for the period between for e.q. January 22nd 2024 – 31st (a total of 10 days).

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. The following Payroll periods (Biweekly Payroll) are confirmed:

Payroll periods
Pay Period Start Date Pay Period End Date Process Date Period Name
2024/01/08 2024/01/21 2024/01/26 [Period-1]
2024/01/22 2024/02/04 2024/02/09 [Period-2]

2. Submit Calculate Payroll with Process Date of 2024/01/26 [Period-1] is completed. Costing for the "X Element" debit amount is 2205.
3. Calculate Partial Period Accruals process: Process Date: 2024/01/31, Previous Period Date : 2024/01/21.
4. Run Payroll Costing Results report: Process Date: 2024/01/31, Previous Period Date : 2024/01/31 . The report is getting the "X Element" debit amount 1750.
