Symptoms

Trying to enable database management for a PDB database fails with following error,

Error message
A problem was encountered: Database Management operation can not be performed because the Container Database's Management Type is not ADVANCED.
If the problem persists, contact Oracle support and provide the following opc-request-id: <Request ID>.
