Posting Job Failing With ORA-00979 Error (Doc ID 3002774.1)

Symptoms

Posting batch is failing with an error after applying IMCS 19.3.012.25 hotfix patch.

ERROR

"An error occurred while posting -@0PACKAGE_ERROR@1ORA-00979: not a GROUP BY expression DOC ID - > @2REIM_POSTING_SQL.CHK_DB_CR_BALANCE_AP_STAGE"

Steps to Recreate:

  1. Apply IMCS 19.3.012.25 hotfix patch.
  2. Ensure that there are few invoices eligible for posting.
  3. Run posting batch and notice the error:
    "An error occurred while posting -@0PACKAGE_ERROR@1ORA-00979: not a GROUP BY expression DOC ID - > @2REIM_POSTING_SQL.CHK_DB_CR_BALANCE_AP_STAGE"
