Unable to Update Storefront User Password (Doc ID 3002912.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When attempting to update a user's password from storefront, the loading "spinner" comes up but the request never completes.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect to be able to change the password after logging in.  


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to homepage
2. Login with existing credentials
3. Attempt to change password
