Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
parts catalogue not visible for technician user type

Technician user types cannot see parts catalogue even after assigning parts catalogue to them via Parts Catalog entity. And we observed that whenever we are importing new UT's for ex Engineer UT then we can see the engineer not able to see parts & just to fix this again we have to add it again to make it working.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Parts Catalog visibility is not impacted by changes and export/import actions on Engineer UT

STEPS
-----------------------

1. Confirm that parts catalog is assigned for an user type
2. Export that user type
3. Import previous exported user type in another environment
4. Confirm that the newly imported user type cannot see any parts catalog assigned previously on the source environment

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
Due to this issue, users cannot complete forms and business is impacted.

Changes

Parts catalog was removed from user type configuration and it is not exported when an user type is exported
