Regenerating A Corrupt Dataset In OAC (Doc ID 3005106.1)

Symptoms


An existing dataset being used in many OAC workbooks was found to have a corrupted Permission setting.
 This prevented the modification the dataset by owner and Administrator, so there was no ability to access anything in the Dataset.
 This also prevented the ability to delete or restore this dataset, so the workbook could not be repaired.

Changes

 Oracle Cloud team assistance was required to manually delete the problematic DataSet, however the after-delete attempt to recreate it by re-running DataFlow failed with new metadata problems.
