Error message not displaying on the Start Service Request Process Flow page

The error message is not displayed when an error is encountered during processing within the Start Service Request Process Flow page. This error is being raised by a custom CS Request Type - Deposit Required plug-in script configured in the start service CS Request Type. As a workaround, the Refresh button should be clicked before the error message is displayed on the page. Also, an additional issue is that the error message also shows in the Checked Out zone in the Dashboard after the Refresh button is clicked.

ERROR
-----------------------
SSN is missing in the send details of the Utilities Exchange Credit Check Outbound Message.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. A custom CS Request Type – Deposit Required is configured in the Start Service. This
algorithm uses a plug-in script that creates an outbound message that will be sent to OIC. If a
required field is not provided in the send details of the outbound message, an error will be raised
using the “terminate with error” script syntax.

2. For this test scenario, after clicking the “Check Deposit Requirement” button, an error should be
displayed since the Person has no SSN Id.

3. After clicking the “Check Deposit Requirement”, no error message is displayed in the process
flow page. There are no changes in the process flow page.

4. Error message only displays after clicking the “Refresh” button. It also shows on the Checked
Out zone in the Dashboard.

Error: SSN is missing in the send details of the Utilities Exchange Credit Check Outbound Message.
