Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 23.2.301.2, Shipping and Receiving

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
SIOCS Package Type and Weight incorrect validation

When we define in the carrier service the weight or package size as required, we cannot save any update to the shipment info.
When we change the carrier service on the transfer to a one that requires weight or package size and try to save it we get a validation error "Package Type is required"

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
This validation should be performed on the container confirmation and not on the shipment information.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1- Create a shipment service with weight or package size as required
2- Create a new transfer to another store
3- Edit the shipment
4- Select the carrier and carrier service that was created in step 1
5- Try to save and check that an error appears to inform the Package or Weight, this information is used in the container and is there that the validation is required.
