Symptoms

PO conversion using DC Api’s and DCA tool has different behavior

When user load the file create_purchase_orders*.zip using the DCA (using entity CREATE_PURCHASE_ORDER), the file is successfully loaded with the following warning: SVC_UPD_EST_DATE -> “The expected in-stock date will be updated with the order approval date after loading into RMS.”.

but when user try to load the same file using the DC API (POM Job CONV_PO_CREATE_JOB_ADHOC) below error is thrown instead

User is expecting that both processes should be able to load the data with the same behavior.


ERROR

Warning messages when file using DC TOOL :SVC_UPD_EST_DATE -> “The expected in-stock date will be updated with the order approval date after loading into RMS.”,


Error while loading file through CONV job : CANNOT_APPR_ORDER_DATE -> “Unable to submit or approve this order because the “Not Before” date or pickup date has passed.”
Our expectation is that both processes should be able to load the data with the same behavior.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Load the file using DC tool and check the upload status
2. Expected the data gets loaded with warning message
3.Load the file using DC API (i.e running CONV_PO_LOAD_ADHOC AND CONV_PO_CREATE_ADHOC jobs and check the error .

Due to this issue, users cannot create po load file through DC API
