EPM Cloud: Ruleset Not Merging Variables (Doc ID 3007068.1)

Symptoms

Two rules within a RuleSet (ABC), the first rule is within the cube OEP_ABC (Rule1) and the second rule is within OEP_XYZ (Rule2). The first rule has 13 variables and the second rule only needs 9 variables though we had temporarily added all 13 variables to Rule2. All of the variables match however when they select the Merge Variables within the Ruleset it does not work properly. It appears that they merge within the Calc Manager UI, however when we try to run the Ruleset it gives a prompt menu that is not merged and has all the prompts to fill out.
