Does SIOCS have an API to Automate User/Store/Role Assignments? (Doc ID 3007171.1)

Goal

Currently, there is no functionality available in EICS to update user status directly. The current process of activating and inactivating a user is via IDCS or OCI IAM. Having an API based solution would help in better maintaining user, user-role and user-store status. EICS does not provide any integration mechanism (REST W-S or batch) to automate user assignment. Retailer currently has an automated process for provisioning users from a HR system and requires this capability in SIOCS.

Scenario:

New employee hiring for seasonal staffing: summer & holiday (routinely 1000+/season) Retailer has a role (X) basically, Store Managers regularly ‘approve’ temporary assignment of their region/district employees to their region/district stores to fill staffing needs.

API operations envisioned:

*Store Assignment (Assign/Revoke)

*Role Assignment (Assign/Revoke)
