Active Workflow: Unable To Select In the Auto Create Settings And Be Used To Create a BP Record (Doc ID 3010841.1)

Symptoms

When a Business Process (BP) workflow schema (unique combination of Setup Name + Workflow Name) is set to Active:

Expected Result

The workflow should be able to be selected in the Auto Create settings for a BP, and made available for users to Create a BP record.

Actual Result

The workflow is Not able to be selected in the Auto Create settings for a BP and is Not made available for users to Create a BP record.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In Admin mode for the BP > Workflow Setup, ensure that the workflow Status is set to Active.
  2. In the Setup for the BP, Auto Create tab, observe that the workflow is not available for selection for the Setup setting.
  3. At runtime, in User mode, for a user that has the ability to Create a BP record using the workflow, click on the +Create button and observe that the workflow is not available for selection.
