Transfer With Two Legs Using Item Transformation: Final Quantity is Double The Expected Quantity
(Doc ID 3011426.1)
Last updated on MARCH 21, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Retail Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service - Version 23.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Using the Item transformation functionality on the transfer screen, the transformation of two items into a third Item (IE Items A and B into Item C) sums the Item quantity.
IE:
3600 units of item A
3600 units of item B
Results in a third item C having 7200 units
The expectation is the transformation result should be 3600 units of item C, not 7200.
A real World example could be:
3600 - Paper Sweet bags
3600 - Sweets
The expectation here would be that A and B are transformed into one sellable item C of 3600 bags of sweets, not 7200 bags of sweets.
