Promotion Upload Does Not Upload Any Data And No Promotion Upload Error Report Generated (Doc ID 3012263.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

The promotion files are uploaded successfully either by WUPL or UPPROMO periodic function, but when a user selects 'Upload' at the Work with Promotions screen (WPRO) or execute PRMOUPL periodic function, no promotion is created and printing promotion list does not return any records. No Promotion Upload Error Report are generated.

 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

When the Promotion 'Upload' function is selected the system will create the specified record in the Promotion or related table. If there Promotion Upload record is in error, the upload will be flagged with a Processed Flag 'E' and update the Error Description Field and produce a report as part of the Promotion Upload Job (PR_PMUPLD).



STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create Promotion Upload file to upload Order Discount promotions into Order Administration.
2. Go to WUPL screen, select the file and Promotion format, upload with Success.
3. Go to WPRO screen, select upload, message indicating PR_PMUPLD job is running.
4. Go to My Jobs, check the job PR_PMUPLD is finished with success and no Promotion Upload Errors report generated.
5. Return to WPRO screen, no promotion is found, select Print List and return no promotions
