Symptoms
UPC Purge and re-assignment not working?
We have found that item is not removed from the rdw_delete_item table after creating the new item with same item number.
This is a valid business scenario (UPC purge and re-assignment )
Note : This is causing FATAL errors in AIF Batch
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Delete a UPC (below tran level item)
2. Run daily purge
3. Notice item deleted from RMS and appears in RDW_DELETE_ITEM
4. Add the UPC back to same or different item parent (SKU) Items added in item_master
5. Notice that Delete record still exists in RDW_DELETE_ITEM?
