Symptoms

When creating Business Process Record and/or Line Item Data by importing a CSV or Excel Template file:

Expected Result

The data should be processed in a reasonable amount of time.

Example: A file with 100 lines of data should be able to be added to the Upload window within a few seconds, and after clicking on the Upload button the data should be processed within a minute or two.

Actual Result

The amount of time it takes to add a file to the Upload window, and then process after the Upload button is clicked, is longer and longer when more line items exist in the file.

Examples:

• A file with two (2) lines of data takes one (1) minute to add to the Upload window and another minute for the data to process.
• A file with 30 lines of data takes seven (7) minutes to add to the Upload window and another 10 minutes for the data to process.
• A file with 100 lines of data takes an hour to add to the Upload window and a few hours for the data to process.
