Symptoms

Error while Migrating/Importing the Application snapshot from source to destination environment.

EPMLCM-14000: Error reported from Core Platform
/Relational Data/Journals:-Amount should be a positive number.(Journal->XXXX in POV->[Scenario].[Actual]:FY23:Dec:FCCS_Periodic:FCCS_Entity Input)

 

Steps to replicate:

============

In a basic multi-currency FCCS app with journal work-flow enabled

Set the precision of Currency USD to 3

Open Actual/FY23/Dec period

Create a basic journal with 2 line items (Total geography, Investment in sub/Retained earnings prior, No movement) with credit as 1.13 and debit as 1.125

a) UI displays the value as 1.130/1.125 and variance as 0.005

Post the journal

LCM Export the journal

b) Exported journals.xml artifact has values as 1.13/1.12 (different from UI)

Open Smartview to check the data for the journal intersection

c) Data is shown as 1.130/1.125 (same as UI, different from exported artifact)

Un-Post and delete the journal. Import the journal from earlier export.

d) UI displays the value as 1.130/1.120 and variance as 0.010 (different from earlier UI)

 

Changes

 No changes in the environment.
