list to MFT embedded server is not working (Doc ID 3018756.1)

Symptoms

There are some issues with Oracle MFT server - Using sftp command, list shows always shows  empty.
sftp -o PreferredAuthentications=password -oPort=port username@hostname
username@hostname's password:
Connected to hostname

sftp> ls

sftp> pwd
Remote working directory: /ORC

sftp> ls -lrta
