Goal

This document explains how to enable federated identity single sign-on (SSO) through SAML 2.0 for Oracle Cloud-hosted Primavera P6 and Unifier environments using Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) as the Service Provider.

This document includes general instructions and does not apply to any specific IDP (such as Azure AD, ADFS, OAM, Okta, etc.)

Instructions for configuring Oracle Primavera Cloud are available in How to Configure Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) with Federated Single Sign-On (SSO) Through SAML 2.0 Using Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) / Identity Domains (Doc ID 2769385.1).

As of March 2023, Oracle has merged the capabilities of Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) into the native Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Identity and Access Management (OCI IAM) service. This will enable Oracle Cloud customers with a rich, enterprise-class set of identity and access management (IAM) features for use with OCI, Oracle Cloud applications, and third-party applications.

Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) instances have become OCI IAM identity domains.
