PROBLEM

In Update 24B, a new feature Manage Communication Preference in the Application Flows is introduced that will allow candidates to edit email addresses as part of the job apply flow. While using this feature, if a candidate has a typo in the email field on the login page and then edits the field on the second page, the candidate may not be able to submit the application. However, the candidate can restart the job application with the correct email address and finish the application.

Note: This issue only occurs for net new candidates and if the SMS feature is turned off.

Scenario 1:

  1. Navigate to External Career Site
  2. Apply for any requisition
  3. During apply flow Edit email and change email to a different email address
  4. Click the save check mark

 Error Received:

Something Went Wrong. Try again later.

Scenario 2:

  1. Navigate to External Career Site
  2. Join Talent Community
  3. Enter email address
  4. Click the save check mark

 Error Received:

Something Went Wrong. Try again later.
