Geocode(Latitude/Longitude) Picker Does Not Provide the Correct Latitude and Longitude for the Address Entered (Doc ID 3022517.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:

Geocode(Latitude/Longitude) Picker does not provide the correct latitude and longitude values for the address entered. The Latitude and Longitude appear to be off by a few miles. 


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:

The Geocode(Latitude/Longitude) Picker should provide the correct latitude and longitude values for the address entered.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to Unifier.
  2. Navigate to Project_XYZ > BP_Node > Create BP record (that has the Geocode(Latitude/Longitude) Picker field > Click on Geocode (Latitude/Longitude) Picker and type in the address in the format Street, City, State, ZipCode > Click the “Map it” icon > Done.
  3. Observe that the Latitude and Longitude values are not for the address entered instead for a location a few miles away.
