Symptoms

DESCRIPTION OF THE LOSS OF FUNCTIONALITY
In P6 Professional, when attempting to copy Activity data (25,000 to 30,000 activities) from a large number of projects the application freezes.


STEPS OR EVENTS THAT LEAD TO THE ISSUE OCCURRING

  1. The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
  2. Login using P6 Professional.
  3. Open a large set projects (>25000 Activities).
  4. On the Activities page, select all activities (Ctrl-A).
  5. Copy all of the Activities data (Ctrl-C).
  6. Notice the application freezes.

EXPECTED RESULT
To copy the Activities data without the application freezing.
