Error Code When Trying To Send A Project/Shell Creation Type Record Through the Terminal Status (Doc ID 3027357.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading to 24.4, some Project/Shell Creation type Business Process (BP) records give the error below when attempting to send the records to a terminal status.  Each record gives a unique error code each time a user attempts to send the record to the Approve step.

ERROR

Alert
Error Code: <company shortname>-<unique error code>
An unexpected error has occurred, and the
system cannot process your request.
Contact your System Administrator
referencing this error code <company shortname>-<unique error code>.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to the Test environment.
  2. Navigate to Home > Tasks.
  3. Open the affected BP records.
  4. Click on Send.
  5. Select Approve.
  6. Click on Send and receive error.
