Saved Values Are Being Overwritten by Auto-population If the Record Is Approved via Web Services (Doc ID 3028207.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
-------------------------------
Set up a field in the Business Process (BP) line item, it should be auto-populated from a referenced BP. Once the user creates the line item, the field auto-populates with value A which is correct. The user changed the auto-populated value with another value B. Save. Send the record to the next step. Then use web Service to approve the record and send it to the next step. Check the record again, but the field value is value A which is not correct. It should be the changed value B.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
-------------------------------

  1. Go to Unifier BP.
  2. Set up a field in the BP line item, it should be auto-populated from a referenced BP.
  3. Once the user creates the line item, the field auto-populates with value A which is correct.
  4. The user changed the auto-populated value with another value B.
  5. Save.
  6. Send the record to the next step via Web Service, the field value is value A which is not correct. It should be the changed value B.
  7. Since the user changed values in step 4. It should be saved and not changed back to the previous auto-populated values A.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The issue happens only when the update happens via web services.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-------------------------------
Since the user changed the value manually, it should be saved and not changed back to the previous auto-populated values.
