Goal

What is the impact if no item prices are loaded into EICS?

Except ticket printing, could you please let us know if there is any impact if no item prices are loaded into EICS.

Currently the customer is not using RIB based RPM integration, but the lot of custom code and batches for creating pricing information for SIM and other systems. They would like to use the same custom approach for generating pricing info for SIOCS as well, like populate the staging table. And the pricing data records populated in this table are in millions. So, here we need to build a custom solution to read this huge data from this table, create CSV files (as per EICS format) and import into EICS on regular basis. This is causing performance issues and more error prone.

To avoid all these, the customer is asking what would be the impact if we don't load this pricing data into SIOCS?
Note: They are doing ticket printing with third party systems.
