Export Report Line DFF Is Not Retained When Spplitting Expenses (Doc ID 3028595.1)

Last updated on JUNE 13, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Expenses Cloud Service - Version 11.13.23.07.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

We have defined Descriptive Flexfields at the expense line level to capture Project details and work orders. When we enter an expense line and split the expense to allocate to more than one project the work order value is not saved, it disappears.

When you create the split allocation the field is compiled.

When you click apply the pop-up closes.

If you select the expense item again and choose split allocation by project again, the pop-up opens but there's no value in Work order field.

Steps to reproduce

1. Add item to an expense report
2. select the item and click on Split Allocation by project
3. fill in all data and observe Work order as compiled
4. click on Apply and observe the pop-up closing
5. select the item again and click on Split Allocation by project again
5. observe the field Work order that is empty
