Fusion SCM INV: Lot Number With Trailing Return Carriage Causing Error While Trying to Transact Item and Lot (Doc ID 3033841.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to select a particular LOT number the following error occurs.

 "The value provided for the Lot Number attribute is invalid because it contains a leading or trailing space."


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Supply Chain Execution --> Inventory Management
2. Create Miscellaneous Transaction
3. select item 'AAAAAA' with LOT "XXXXX"

When trying to save the Miscellaneous transaction error message is received

Due to this issue, users cannot transact the item using this Lot.
