Last updated on JULY 16, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service - Version NA and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

We had the following situation:

- For store 37, a stock count was started in SIOCS in Jan-2024 (count 2968)
- This stock count has been processed and applied to SIOCS
- The respective data from this count got exported to MFCS
- In MFCS this count has not been processed on Jan, it displayed a flag of DELETE_IND = Y on stake_head
- we assumed this count would not ever be processed in MFCS
- recently in the end of May another count was started in SIOCS for this store (count 3226)
- this one has also bern processed and applied to SIOCS
- the respective date from this count got exported to MFCS
- when we expected this count (3226) to be processed in MFCS what happened is that the Jan one (2968) got processed, even with the delete_ind still set to Y
- we are seeing tran data posts with a tran date of Jan and a post date of May, and also a ref_no_2 = 2968 stkvar records in this table
- count 3226 is still unprocessed

STAKE_AUTO_PROCESSING = S in MFCS

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. create a stock count in SIOCS
2. process it in SIOCS and export to MFCS
3. mark it for deletion
4. create a new stock count in SIOCS for the same store
5. process it in SIOCS and export it to MFCS
6. have MFCS process the most recent stock count and check the results
