NGS/Redwood Sales:Duplicate Team Members Are Getting Added When Adding New Team Member (Doc ID 3036079.1)

Goal

Created a M:M relationship between Custom Object and Resources for Child Object Team.
As per the standard behavior if same team member is already added, same member cannot be added again in Team.
In Simplified UI (SUI), currently the behavior is as expected - not able to add existing team member.

However in Redwood Sales UI > custom object > Team panel, application allows to add same member as existing team member again and again.

 

a. the custom relationship created as per the document

b. created a new subtab for the intersection object under Custom object (CO) pages

c. verified ORA_ZCX_MM_ALLOW_DUPLICATE_FEATURE - set to No

d. in SUI, user cannot create duplicate records/add duplicate resources as expected

e. however, in Redwood UI, duplicate resource records are allowed to be added

Are duplicate records allowed under M:M relationship in Redwood ?
Is this any known issue ?
Does the profile option - ORA_ZCX_MM_ALLOW_DUPLICATE_FEATURE apply to Redwood UI too?
