Symptoms

When attempting to import an XER exported from a Standalone (SQLite) P6 database to P6 connecting to Oracle or SQL Server database, the following error occurs.

Event Code: SRE-2835-B
Message:
  Stream read error

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Export a project to XER from a P6 Standalone (SQLite) database.
  2. Log on to P6 Professional connecting to an Oracle or MS SQL Server database.
  3. Import the XER file.
  4. Import fails with the reported error.
